Over the past 25 years, Peter has been part of a successful transformation story of Slovenská sporiteľňa, a.s., a market leader in digital banking. As a member of the Board of Directors and for the last five years as CEO, he has been involved in all the bank’s important milestones. He is also part of the wider management (CEO board) of its parent, Erste Group, an important player in the CEE region.

Before he joined Slovenská sporiteľňa, he started his career at VUB bank, Tatra bank and Creditanstalt – handling investment banking in Vienna. In his early days, he was involved in capital market operations and investment fund management. Subsequently, fate brought him to Slovenská sporiteľňa.

This professional career has allowed him to gain experience in commercial and investment banking as well as to understand what the clients need, both when raising funds and handling available funds.
