Milan is an experienced corporate and transactional lawyer with extensive practice across the CEE/EMEA region. He has been a partner at HAVEL & PARTNERS since 2025, specialising in mergers and acquisitions, private equity, general corporate law, and private client matters.

Before joining HAVEL & PARTNERS, he worked at leading Czech law firms and provided legal advice to a Czech banking institution.

In M&A and private equity / venture capital, Milan Sivý has extensive experience advising on major acquisition, restructuring, and asset transactions in the Czech Republic and across Central and Eastern Europe. He has advised leading investors, industrial groups, financial institutions, and private equity funds.

In corporate law, he focuses in particular on corporate reorganisations, restructuring, and the design of ownership and governance structures within corporate groups. He has also leveraged his expertise in this area as the lead author of a commentary on the Act on the Restructuring of Companies and Cooperatives.
