Matyáš is the owner of Artslimit, an online auction portal, and a consultant at Galerie KODL, the largest Czech auction house. For many years, he has been analysing the international and Czech markets for collectibles and alternative investments in general.

Matyáš also has professional experience in other fields, especially accounting and auditing. For several years, he also advised on the establishment of Kunsthalle Prague, where he participated in the creation of the concept and content of the institution.

Matyáš studied corporate finance in Nice, France, and international law and finance in Prague. He gained practical knowledge in the art and collectibles trade at Sotheby’s Institute of Art in London and New York, focusing on 20^th and 21^st century art.
