Marcel has more than 30 years of banking experience in senior management positions within the Raiffeisen Bank International banking group, and for the last 18 years as a member of the Board of Directors of Tatra banka a.s., a leading innovative bank on the Slovak market. He was responsible for the corporate banking segment with the largest market share in Slovakia and a portfolio of approximately EUR 5 billion. He was also responsible for the capital markets and private banking business of the market leader managing assets worth approximately 3 billion.

After his active banking career, he worked as an advisor to the President of the Slovak Republic and the CEO of Exim Bank. He is now a non-executive board member of CBRE’s Slovak branch and a member of supervisory boards of several companies.
