David is a partner at ONE FAMILY OFFICE and a shareholder of HAVEL & PARTNERS, the largest Czech-Slovak law firm. He has a long-standing focus on private client services, corporate law, and advisory on transactions with a major tax aspect.

In 2008, as part of the law firm, he established the first legal team in the Czech-Slovak market focused on services for private clients, consisting today of over 40 lawyers and tax advisors and taking care of business and private matters of one third of the wealthiest Czechs and Slovaks, the most important Czech and Slovak entrepreneurs, owners, company managers, and investors.

He provides private clients with comprehensive advice on the development and management of family-owned and major Czech and Slovak privately owned companies, in particular succession planning, asset protection, and strategic management issues. His specialties include family holdings, local and foreign foundations, and trusts. David handles legal and tax issues related to philanthropic and charitable activities of private clients, qualified investor funds and their use for private wealth management.

Within the HAVEL & PARTNERS group, he has long been involved in the management, protection, and tax rationalisation of the investments of the firm’s shareholders.
