Branislav is the President of the SYNTECA Group and is regarded as a respected leader in the technology and management environment. Drawing on many years of experience gained in international companies (on the vendor, client, and system integrator sides), he now leverages this expertise in the strategic leadership of the SYNTECA Group. There, he combines a deep understanding of markets, business, and technology with a strong focus on creating long-term value for clients in both the public and private sectors, while building a unique team focused on the implementation of artificial intelligence.

Branislav also leads his own investment group, Squid Venture, which comprises seven companies operating across sectors ranging from real estate development to IT.

Throughout his career, he has demonstrated an exceptional ability to lead people, strong business acumen, and a proven capacity to build and develop teams across diverse professional disciplines.

An important milestone in his entrepreneurial journey was the founding of his own company, which he successfully built and later sold to a global Fortune 500 corporation, demonstrating his ability to create scalable and internationally competitive businesses. He subsequently built on this entrepreneurial experience in senior executive roles, serving as the CEO of IBM Slovakia and IBM Czech Republic, and later as the CEO of Erste Group IT. In these roles, he led large international teams and managed complex technology and transformation projects.

As a visionary executive, he is able to connect long-term strategy with practical implementation while systematically building organisational value.

He holds a degree in International Trade from the University of Economics in Bratislava, Slovakia, and completed an Executive MBA programme at the University of Pittsburgh Katz Graduate School of Business in the United States. He currently also serves as a member of the Industry Council of the Faculty of Informatics and Information Technologies Slovak University of Technology.
